About this event

The Manila Symphony Orchestra marks its hundredth year with a concert devoted entirely to Philippine symphonic music. Conductor Thanos Adamopoulos traces the evolution of Filipino orchestral writing, with Emanuel John Villarin as violin soloist, in the restored Art Deco Manila Metropolitan Theater, one of the city's most beautiful auditoriums. This is the third concert of the 2026 centennial season and a rare evening for the national repertoire, well suited to a cultured night out or visiting family.
